and to apply a GFX String, Open up EFI Studio(Google) and select graphics, and find your card. then you should have everything working.(Video)

Any stuff like nvdarwin, nvkush, nvinject, nvenabler, etc - if installed - otherwise the injection via EFI String won't work...

Yeah but make sure you don't have a second com.apple.boot.plist in /Extra or /Darwin - otherwise applying the hex string to the one in /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration won't work, as it will be skipped on boot.

Does it turn off - or just get black - sure you applied the correct string.?

Anyway you can boot up using -s and use the following:
Quote:
mount -uw /
vi /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist
go to the lines <key>device-properities</key> and press dd then go to the <string> line with the Hex string and press dd again - save the the file using :wq + enter and reboot - this will remove the EFI String again.
