![]() Hi I just got a new machine setup and had partitioned the main HD into two parts to dual boot Win7 and then I was wanting to put 10.5.7 on the other partition. The other partition is already partitioned as FAT32.
I got the iATKOS v7 and tried to boot from it but all it does it it goes thru the darwin text prompt and then blinks the grey apple for a second then reboots. My system details: ASUS 6T6 motherboard intel i7 920 NVIDIA 9800GT SATA2.0 Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. |

Try using another Kernel, like the AnV Kernel, or the Voodoo Kernel.
They should be optional to install when you set up iATKOS. I'm an absolute noob to these things man, sorry. But when you say use another kernel what do you mean?
Do I burn another kernel on a disk, boot from it then use the IATKOS disc? Whats the process here? Thanks man |

Try to boot using "/mach_970" or "/mach_970 cpus=1" on the bootprompt. First one will make use of the 9.7.0 Voodoo/quoopz Kernel instead of the 9.5.0 Voodoo Kernel (default one) if that doesn't work either the second command will try to boot that kernel using just one core...
