Audio on 10.5.8
Hello Guys..
I am spending a very huge amount of time trying and searching to get my sound to work. Windows Hardware IDs: HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_111D&DEV_7675&SUBSYS_102802A1& REV_1001 HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_111D&DEV_7675&SUBSYS_102802A1 Everest: Description High Definition Audio-Controller [NoDB] Bus / Device / Function 32 / 1 / 1 Hardware ID 10DE-0AC0 Subsystem ID 10DE-CB79 Device Class 0800 (Programmable Interrupt Controller) Revision B1 i tried AplleAzalia, VoodooHDA and Patching AppleHDA. At AppleAzalia, after adding my Vendor and device id i got a speaker symbol in the menu bar, but i couldn't change the volume. and there was still no sound. System Profiler showed Intel HDAudio. At VoodooHDA i got sound, but it was so crackling and really ugly and absolutely unusable. I tried to patch AppleHDA following AppleHDA Patch Guide from InsanelyMac but i have no luck. Maybe i ve done something wrong..? I feel that i am close to the solution, but there is something missing.. i don't know what to do now.. i know that i can get that to work. with your help guys. Does anybody out there possibly knows a solution for this? I would be very thankful about any help. ![]() Thanks in Advance guys. |

You need to look on the mobo & find the ID-string screen-printed on the Audio IC - at present you have info for the NV HD-Audio front-end.
