Sound on HP not working
I've been having some problems. Firsts it was getting the i5 to boot then the trackpad and keyboard. But I am slowly solving them. But I have run into a bit of a snag. I only have sound and wirless to get fixed before I have 100% Hackintosh. I tried AppleHDA.kext and the VoodooHDA.kext. The AppleHDA.kext just doesn't work and the VoodooHDA casues kernel panics. I am not sure where to go from here. I google and google but keep getting the same pages. I have tried stuff at InsanelyMac and it doesn't help. The IRC channel over at Hackint0sh has yeilded little in the way of meaningful help. Where should I go from here? Any ideas? if anone has any tutorials on how to get Intel HD sound running or if you would like to solve it for me I am open to all ideas. Just don't knwo what the next step is ya know? Any information needed just ask.
