dual boot from bios

If I want to select my boot drive every time I boot from bios, can I just do a regular W7 install on a new drive and not have any boot managers? I already have SL running fine, but I have to put Windows on the machine for 2 pieces of software. I'm getting another drive today, and I assume as long as I select a drive from the boot-up screen it won't matter what OS is on another drive.

Thanks
