About G31M-ES2L rev. 2 OSX installation
I'm sorry if I'm opening a new post about G31M-ES2L but reading 70+ pages of posts is simply mindblowing.
![]() The reason I'm writing is to know something more about the installation techniques that - apparently - don't work with my want-to-be hackintosh. In brief, I've thoroughly followed the rules about preparing a USB stick that contains OSX Snow Leopard, I hit F12 to choose the drive to boot but... the computer keeps booting from the Windows 7 hard disk. At this point I'm wondering if i have to unplug that Windows 7 hard disk and/or leave plugged that HD where I will install OSX. is there a preferred SATA port where OSX HD must be plugged? Thanks in advance Michael |

I have this exact motherboard.
In setting up many hackintoshes, I've had one situation where a particular USB flash drive would not boot on one computer. It was just a quirk. Changing to a different drive fixed the problem. What method(s)/guide(s) do you plan on using? |
