AMD build - can i install Leopard

Hi everyone, long time browser first time poster

Im trying to understand if i am able to install Snow Leopard with the following components, i would really appreciate any feedback.

AMD Phenom x4 965 CPU 3.4ghz
Asus M4A87TD/USB3 Motherboard
4GB DDR3 Ram
Samsung HD103SJ 1TB Sata HDD
Nvidia Geforce 8400 GS Graphics Card
Pinoneer DVR-218L DVDRW

Google 10.6.5 guide.. Works for the latest versions too. For the GPU use GraphicsEnabler parameter in Chameleon, or
alternatively use NVEnabler for the gpu.. as a kernel use legacy kernel..

I have a similar computer (Athlon II X3, 4GB Ram, 9500GT)

thanks m8, i found the guide and followed it but could not get ethernet working so just gave up

Well, You should check out your hardware and find out the correct kext for it.

I have no idea what your talking about lol, just going to buy a mac book air

Kexts are drivers in Mac OS world. You should google a bit.
