Switching Desktop Resolution give me blank blue screen, or when launching game - screen is black

Hi all.

I've 10.5.2 Rev.2 by Zephyroth working on my pc. Everything is fine including correct video kext, full QE/CI support. System is stable, works very smooth. I've only one problem with switching resolution. Of course I know about this issue so I'm able to set correct desktop resolution by arrows keys. For now it's ok, but when I want change resolution, after that I need to use arrows method again to set correct resolution. My display it's connect with DVI2 Video Card if this is important. But as I remember on DVI1 was the same problem. (I'm using CRT monitor & DSUB cable with DSUB->DVI adapter)

This's work well and I don't have problem with that at all in Leopard.

The problem appear when I want try launch games for testing or just playing. After launching the game (CallOfDuty 2 for example or NFS MW) I've blank black screen with low resolution I guess, also I can hear game sound - it's working but without display.

My idea is the problem appear only when I launch the app which want switch resolution. After that I can't do anything except reset PC.

I believe there is solution for this, I'm looking google deep without success. Maybe here somebody can help me.

i have the same problem actually. switched to dvi and all good. but one of my other hackintoshes got a 16" lcd and it doesn't have a dvi port so i got the same problem. haven't found a solution though. tried all the nvinject stuff etc. no dice yet.

oh the installer i used was kalyway and another iPC 10.5.6 beta. i'll be doing another pass at iPC. maybe i missed something.
