appleNforceata problem

can't burn dvds or cds with the new applenforceata.kext
so i am looking for a fix

i have an nforce 4 chipset
motherboard is mpc61
and it is all sata no ide on my board

you must wait a new kext release by Medevil or buy a USB/SATA adapter, it works perfect.

Or for the sake of £20 buy an ide dvd writer, I bought one that plays dvds quietly because as far as I know there is no way to control speed in leopard

what´s your first boot device (bios)? Try changing in your bios or open your case and change the cable.

the dvd burner drive is first boot
should i change that

You can try it and post the results here, if doesn´t works , back to the previous settings and that´s all.
