Hey Guys,
I recently found out a forcedeth.kext, that lets Mac detect my Realtek RTL8201N lan card.. The KEXT can be found at http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=12933 (the last version [0.3]).. When I install it with kext helper though, my mouse/keyboard but mac is not frozen.. This happens when it says that a new network device has been detected.

My keyboard/mouse are wireless connected to a USB port.. When I reboot, the mouse and keyboard are not working at the login screen. If I try to delete the forcedeth kext through linux, I can use my mac.

Thanks Guys,
Delian

I have a Cordless Internet Navigator mouse/keyboard-combo and it works flawlessly with PS/2 and forcedeth-v 1.0.0.2 from Leo4All V3 DVD. Have you tried to disable 'USB Legacy Support' in BIOS? On some mainboards this is neccessary.
BTW: You can connect your USB mouse/keyboard to PS/2 using USB->PS/2 adapters, they'll about 1 Eur or so. You'll save two USB ports with this method.
