I tried loading iATKOS v5.0i 10.5.5 on my old laptop, but it freezes after the first reboot, what do I do? Does it not support the chipset? Im not very high on computer lingo, so tone it down a little Just getting started

I believe it has the 945GM chipset

Give us some more details please. Intel 945GM should be supported. to have better chances - try iPC 10.5.6.

When does it freeze ? If on the configuration screen - boot with -x to complete it.
If at the boot, try to run it with -v and tell us on what information it freezes.

Its just a plain stock v5000

But it installs fine, The first time i didnt touch the custom link, and it froze at the grey screen with a / through a o, so I renstalled it and on reboot it goes to the grey apple screen with spinning icon, and just sits there, does nothing. should I wait longer than 20 mins?

Have you installed chipset support at the customize section ? I still dont know what does it freeze at. Boot with -v and post here the last message you see on screen.

Sorry I dont know anything aobut the custom driver list. The tuturial I used was not very device specific.
