Inject sb700 into previous mac installation???

I had to replace my motherboard and i was wondering if there is a way to inject the sb700 drivers without having to re-install the whole os? I have transmac and can see my mac partition and all it's files.

Thanks!

Basically, you would first copy the kexts into the extensions folder (*insert name of Mac partition*/System/Library/Extensions) and then set their permissions using the OS X install disc. I don't remember the nitty gritty on that part of it, hopefully someone with more terminal skill can explain that part of the process.
