Hey guys im new to the forum and new to the world of hackintosh. My goal is to have Vista(SP2) and Mac OS X running in a dual boot configuration, Vista is already installed btw. I will be using the Mac for productivity purposes, including:
(EVEREST REPORT ATTACHED TO POST) I have both iPC 10.5.6 Final and iATKOS v7, which would be the best one to install? and which drivers and fixes would i need to get it up and running with all of my hardware working. I would appreciate any help, tips and advice i can get. Happy to be a part of the community, Thanks! |

It decided to use iPC 10.5.6 and i used the following settings.
Kernel - 9.5.0 Voodoo Video - Ndarwin 1024 Sound - ALC888 Chipset - VIA/SiS/Marvell/SB Chipset Drivers Ethernet - Realtek R1000 USB - patched USB drivers Power - Voodoo power Fixes - SATA drive icon fix, Dual boot time sync, Seatbelt.kext 10.5.5, Shutdown/Restart fix PS/2 Device - Mouse and Keyboard SMBIOS - Applesmbios-27 rev3 800mhz Applications - Installed all of them Everything works perfectly using these settings, sound, video, ethernet...no problems at all. Hope this helps someone else too. Last edited by mauley; 06-29-2009 at 09:58 PM. |
