Problems with Asus M3N78-VM mobo

Hey!

I just tried to install iAtkos v7 on my desktop pc with a tutorial from insanelymac.com. Everything worked fine, but suddenly the installation stopped and I got a kernel panic. I made a photo of this...

Does somebody know what happened? I tried to use the onboard NVidia 8200. Should I buy a different video card like a 9500GT or something like that?

Thanks for your help!

I managed to install iAtkos this morning by deselecting most items on the customize installation screen and starting the installation with "cpus=1".
So I just have to find out, how to install all the kexts manually step by step and make backups of the different working solutions.

you can install kexts files (example.kext) with Kext Helper b7 (google it).

Find the kexts manualy (for example try netkas site for video driver, try to use nvidia injector), and install it.

If the system cant't boot up, try -x argument on boot options to start the OS in safe mode, and then disable the driver.

Drivers are located in /system/library/extensions. Before replace a driver with kex helper, backup the old one (if exist). just go to extension directory and copy the old one. Then install the new one with the kext helper.

Hey!

Thanks for your help!
I bought a Gainward 9400GT today and used "OSx86 Tools" to backup my kexts and install the ones I found at insanelymac. Worked perfectly and now I have the native resolution.
The next step is to get the sound working!
