hello there,

yes you have to have a working osx for running the installer script, partition it with GUID and then you need to restore the original DVD or image that i suppose you have of SNow Leopard 10.6 onto it. After your USB is ready you proceed to boot with -v or cpus=1 if you need it,

cheers

Hi flip360!

Thanks for the quick answer. I will try it in a vmware leopard (because I don't have a Mac).
I am still interesed in the other topic, install from dvd.
What can you suggest me?
Should the retail install dvd boot with the k50in boot cd? Won't boot for me, I'll try the Hazard edition tomorrow.
If not, what is the correct method to boot the retail install dvd?

Best Regards!
Adam

@ keresztesvitez: I havent ried the K50IN boot cd so i duuno if it works, but the USB method works and its fast too,
@ Georgie99: Try and add NullCPUPowermanagement.kext to the extra folder and see if that passes the ACPI error during boot,

cheers

you can either copy it to Extra/Extensions through Windows or as i did, copied it to my USB installer. Mind you that i dont longer need it because the native applecpupowermanager is working fine,

cheers

Hi Georgie99!

I have managed to download the kext you mentioned. It's a zip file. Once I was able to install Leopard, but it won't boots up so I gave up, but I have managed to copy files to the mac partition with MacDrive8.
Attached Files
File Type: zip NullCPUPowerManagement.kext.zip (27.6 KB, 18 views)
