Resolutions works on 64 but not on 32 mode ??
I've recently updated my thinkpad T61 with a 1440x1050 LCD. I've updated the com.apple.boot.plist accordingly but it know works only on 64 bit mode.
In 32 bit the system boots ok but I only have a white screen. The problem is that with I can't get QE/CI to work in 64 mode (I have a X3100 graphic card) so I would rather use 32 bit mode right now. Any though on that ? Thanks PS: OK I'm think I'm beginning to understand. AppleIntelGMAX3100FB is the source of the resolution problem. This kext does not load properly in 64 (no QE/CI) thus the resolution problems does not occur. However in 32 bit this kext creates a white screen. But I've no idea why ? Anyone ? I'm really stuck on that ? Why AppleIntelGMAX3100FB would limit my resolution ?
