iATKOS S3 v2 and HP Pavilion dv6838nr
Hi,
I'm trying to install iATKOS on my notebook but the Install keeps failing at the end. Here are my computer Specs: HDD: 250GB HDD Fuijitsu MHY2250BH RAM: 4GB DDR2 RAM CPU: INTEL C2D 1.83GHZ GPU: INTEL GMA X3100 DVD: TSSTcorp CDDVDW AUDIO: Realtek HD Audio WIFI: Intel PRO Wireless 4965AGN ETHERNET: RealTek RTL8101 Here's what I did: Downloaded IATKOS S3 v2 Checked MD5 and both are the same Burned iATKOS S3 v2 with Brasero in Ubuntu 10.04 at x3.3 speed (lowest possible) Booted with iATKOS DVD Pressed F8 and typed -v and then pressed enter Used Disk Utility to create a 100GB Mac Extended Journal partition and Zeroed it Went to Mac Installer // Customised the settings, unchecked everything and then check off these: iATKOS S3 MAIN SYSTEM Bootloader -> Chameleon v2 RC5 Bootloader options -> none Patches ->/ExtraDirectory; fakesmc; Disabler; RTC -> RTC, EVO Reboot Drivers -> Main Hardware -> SATA/IDE -> Intel Sound -> Voodoo & Apple HDA PS/2 -> Voodoo NTFS - 3G VGA -> Intel -> X3100 // After pressing Install and waiting 10-15mins an Install Failed Screen popped up saying: "Installer could not copy the necessary support files."
