Locating preboot issues.

I hate to ask with any help on hardware because this aint my first rodeo, however last time I spend 6 months getting Snow Leopard installed on a machine and it still never actually worked right. So since locating my mobo on a hardware comp. list has been thus far impossible I figure asking around seems like a good idea. (Again sorry guys). This is my current set up:

Mobo: MSI 870u-G55
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955
RAM: Kingston HyperX T1 6gb 1600mhz tri ch
GFX: Evga GTS 450 1gig ddr5
HDD: WD 20000CSRTL (Cav. Green 2TB)
DVD: ASUS 24B1ST

Now, I know the gfx is compatible, as is the dvd, hdd, and ram. What I cannot find though is support for my Mobo. I assume that it'd work but again I wasted 6 months of constantly reinstalling last go round this go round I'd prefer to be smart and ask for help. Thanks for the time guys.
