ATI Radeon X1300 Pro Troubles!

I just installed iDeneb 10.5.5 and everything seems to work fine except that i have No Quartz Extreme (Transparent Menu Bar). I tried to install using the driver on the Distro DVD, No Q/E. I tried Diabolik's X1300 Installer. My system wouldn't boot after that. I tried the NatitX1300. My system wouldnt boot after that. Just blue screen.

I was running Kalyway 10.5.2 and i find myself a bit stuck because this is THE ONLY Distro i can find that my graphics card fully works on. I've Tried Zephyroth And Leo4All as well. I also tried updating my Kalyway install using
ASU ( I've got an amd machine by the way) but after trying to update to even 10.5.3 my machine stopped booting. I really need some help here. Thanks
