iPC Live - Install vs Run

If I boot my Compaq without options, I gets the install, and can partition, format, and install without a problem.

The "config=live.plist" and "bootlive; exit" gives no results, but after I type "exit" I get a half hour of text, with occasional blue screens with a pointer, but nothing else. I hit enter when it asks for RamDrive size to use default.

Voodoo seems to panic if I boot off my install.

All installs have been on HFS+, but I'm thinking if I install it on Fat32 I will be able to read/write when I boot to Vista to ease moving files platform to platform.

What do I do?
