im new to this... I wanna know wat is the best distro for my acer aspire 4920...

My laptop specs are as follows:

Processor: Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU T7500 @ 2.2oGHz
Memory : 3gb ram
Video card: Ati Mobility Radeon HD 2400 XT
Network adapter: Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN

Please suggest me a Distro for my laptop...

I initially had problems erasing and mounting a partition using disk utility
when i was using iPC 10.5.6... i get error as Failed to mount

Pls help me and suggest me a guide... thanks alot...
