ALC883 and USB Fix1.3 installations disappears after reboot
Hi all,
after a few attempts and a long period of forum readings I've succesfully installed 10.5.5 OSX on my PC. This is my PC components: MB= ASUS P5KC (Not the best choice to do that!) RAM= 4 GB DDR2 800Mhz CPU= Intel Core 2 Duo E8200 2,6Ghz GPU= Sparkle Nvidia Geforce 9600GT Chipset=P35 Audio= Onboard ALC883 6ch+Digital PATA= Jmicron JMB363 LAN= Onboard Attansic L1 Gb + PCI Realtek RTL8139 Everything is working fine altough, every time I reboot, I have to install again the ALC883 drivers and AppleHDA.kext patched to have the audio works. Now I've upgraded to 10.5.7 and 2 of my USB plugs on the back of the case stops working. I've found a patch called USB fix 1.3 that fix the issue, but I've to do the same thing I did for the audio. It is still manageable but is there any way to install this audio and USB drivers without the needs to reinstall again every time I have to reboot? I don't know if is it enough clear, but if you have some questions please ask me... if I'll resolve this 2 minor issues the sysop will be perfect. Thank you in advance for all you answers I forgot to say that was Kalyway 10.5.2 DVD installation, upgraded 'til 10.5.7 with Apple Delta updates |
