[HELP] Leopard on HP NC6000
I've never installed any mac OS onto a PC, but I've installed a ton of windows OSes onto PCs and I've installed Tiger onto a PowerMac G4, so I semi-know what I'm doing, but please bear with me as it's my first time with a Hackintosh.
I'm trying to put Leopard on my old NC6000 Laptop, I've been working on it for about four hours. I tried using iATKOS v1.0i, I used -v -x, and it ran fine for about 3 minutes and it got to this: Mac Framework successfully intialized using 2621 buffer headers and 26121 cluster IO buffer headers Extension "com.apple.driver.ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin" has immediate dependencies on both com.apple.kernel and com.apple.kpi componenets; use only one style then it froze, and I left it there for two and a half hours, and didn't budge. So now I'm downloading Leo4allv3final, there's about 2 hours and 7 minutes left on the download. I'm essentially asking for someone to tell me if it will work, and if it can then tell me what to do next, and if it won't then what I can do to install leopard. Also, the file I'm downloading is a folder with 36 zip archives labelled V3part01 - V3part36, what do I do with those? Desktop: Windows XP Professional AMD Athlon 7550 Dual-Core 2.51 GHz 4.00 GB of RAM GeForce 9600 GSO (768 Megs of VRAM) 1 Terrabyte Hard Drive Then I have the Asus EEE PC 900HD Netbook, and the HP NC6000 Laptop Last edited by Joewashere9times; 11-28-2009 at 03:26 PM. |
