Stable 32-bit apps possible w/more than 4GB RAM?
Hello all...
I've recently built my hackintosh and I'm having trouble figuring out how to get 32-bit apps to run with more than 4GB RAM recognized by the OS. If I boot maxmem=8192, all 32-bit apps fail to start. Also, I have to run Photoshop CS5 in 32-bit mode. If I run it in 64-bit, it crashes randomly when using certain actions and scripts. System specs: MB: ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/U Proc: AMD Phenom II x6 1055T Mem: 8GB OCZ Video: Geforce 8400gs 512MB HDD: 60GB OCZ SSD Boot args: arch=i386 -force64 maxmem=4096 cpus=6 busratio=16 I used this guide to get the system running on 10.6.5 Any help on this is much appreciated... |
