Yes... so it must be the new CPU routines...

I went over the code and found some discrepancies in Intel_startcpu routine.
I corrected the code

it works, but i can't set my macmodel to macpro2,1/3,1 within smbios.plist

Have to set cpus=3, am on 10.5.6

you can set in com.apple.Boot.plist -nomacmodeloverride and then it will work.
