The only way to get it work is VoodooHDA. Last edited by wastez; 09-10-2012 at 05:29 PM. |

I only have two harddrives in my computer. One of them is installed with Windows 7 and the other isn't installed with anything. If I partition the other one and make it into two different drives can I install hackintosh snow leopard onto it than install lion and put the amd kernel in it or would this cause too many problems? I think I did this in the past and I ended up messing up my entire computer. Keep in mind I use EasyBCD program to dual boot Windows 7 and Hackintosh Snow Leopard because I've never been able to dual boot both of these operating systems without EasyBcd.

Lion 10.7.5 update is out! Has anyone tried to boot it with RAW's 10.7.4 kernel? |

Could be understood like a cut down on Lion internal development. As for AMD: Using 11.4.0 XNU on 10.7.5 appears to be no problem to me so far. ![]() Anyway I will most likely compile that new Kernel with the current patch, short time after Apple releases the source code... |

Tried 10.7.5,too. It´s kind of unstable on my system!
Itunes for example freezes all the time while loading and the system itself freezes for seconds from time to time. I´m looking forward to a new kernel though i´m not in hurry, because my 10.7.4 works great ![]() AMD FX 8120 Black Edition ASUS M5A97 Geforce 9500GT OS X Lion Retail 10.7.4 |

Think positive.
As long as they don't remove support for YouTube, as they did for iOS... XD ![]() |

What's wrong with my system? I installed 10.7.3 on fx-6100 but i cannot do the following :
- update to 10.7.4 would cause the system on continuous reboot - using RAWX legacy kernel would make the system so sluggish - applying amd_insn_patcher cause kernel panic before updating dyld shared cache and everytime after system loads. Is there any kext in conflict with the update? ![]() ![]() Last edited by jhusly; 09-23-2012 at 03:33 PM. |

If anyone would be nice enough for me to take a look at this list of kext on my system and figure out which one is creating the conflict i would really be gratefull. I already spend more than 2 months with this hackintosh but still can't make it work perfectly and almost feel like giving my fx-6100 up. ![]() ![]() Also, i tried to install the distro you sent to me by iNDO but I can't make it boot. I'm stuck with "Not an intel platform. Restart fix not applied!!!" ![]() |

The harddrives that show up on the right side, are they only available on amd 10.7.4 and possibly 10.7.3? I don't get visible harddrives on my desktop with 10.7.2 or is their a kext or pkg file to fix that?
