Hey Guys, So my leopard install works perfect, except for graphics. With my 7900GS I can change resolution, but I dont have QE/CI. Any suggestions on how I can rectify my issue? Thanks! |

I have a 7900GS
Use the gfx efi string method. You'll probably have to add your device ID to GeForce.kext and NVDANV40Hal.kext too. |

I have a XFX 7900gs myself. I had to add my device id (0x029210de) to GeForce.kext

So I tried the gfx efi string method, but I still don't have QE/CI...

Never mind. I double checked the GeForce.kext info.plist and the device ID was entered incorrectly. Works nice now. Thanks!

Hi b4k4,
got the same video card... but i cant generate the hex string using gfxutil... gfxutil won't create output file because some value is not in a correct hex format I think i have to replace the NVCAP value in the template.plist file... but don't know what value i've got to put in ![]() Could you provide the values you used to generate the hex string or even better : the hex string itself ??? Thanks a lot ! Keep up the good work !! |
