Question The Quicktime problem

Hi there! I'm still working around with my Quicktime 7.6 problem. It's still much too slow! Everything except this is working fine - it's frustrating.

While I was in the Activity Monitor, I tried the 'Sample Process' button, and this is what I got:

Code:
Sampling process 309 for 3 seconds with 1 millisecond of run time between samples
Sampling completed, processing symbols...
2009-03-12 02:01:42.330 sample[310:10b] *** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'VMUMemory (NonContiguousTask)', reason: 'Attempt to map zero-length range'

I get this message (with differences) on some other apps too, but only on this installation. My other systems (Leo4All V3 10.5.3) don't have these problems, even on the same machine.

What could it be? If you take a look in the Activity Monitor in 'Inspect -> Open Files and Ports' of the Quicktime Player process you'll get a ton of information.

Could some of you with iPC 10.5.6 (or other versions) test some apps if they create similar problems? I have this problem even on Xbench, Terminal and Disk Utility.
