iATKOS v7 not even starting to install....

I try to install it to this desktop system:
Intel Core2Quad Q9400
4GB DDR3 RAM
ASUS P5Q3 mainboard
Nvidia 8600GT
2x SATA HDD WDD 640GB & 750GB

but the problem is that it doesn't even start the installation, it's shows for a second the apple screen and reboots....

And second i have a laptop with "bsd process name corresponding to current thread: kernel_task" problem after installation but i think is the partitioning that is the problem...
The laptop is a
Intel Core2Duo T9300
Nvidia GeForce 9800M GT
Mainboard Intel P<965 + ICH8M
Network Realtek RTL8168C
INTEL WIRELESS WiFi (can't find a patch)
Audio Intel 82801HB (Neither) * the AZALIA driver work fine
SATA Drive WD 250GB

if anyone can help me i would be very thankfull...

NEWS UPDATE:
In my laptop FINALLY everything is working just fine...
Now i will try to my desktop....

hi, how do you solve that problem with "bsd process name corresponding to current thread"?

i have the same problem here. i cant start my leopard. always give that error.

Try to change the SATA/IDE settings (I put them on AHCI mode - had them to enhanced) and use the lowest amound of patches you can....
