Run from dvd with -v option an see what chipset are using for installation. then check it at install options.
For example.. I have an SB450, but when I installed I could see "ATA VIA chipset".. so, first time installed I dont check "VIA CHIPSET" and when I reboot ... "Still waiting for root device" message occurred. Second time install, I check this opcion (VIA Chipset) and... leopard is running ![]() Sorry for my English. I hope your leopard running ![]() Gaston |

I was going to say have you checked your drive setup, but since you've had it working with Leo4All this probably won't apply.
If your hard disk is ide, make sure that the CD drive is set to master on channel 0, with the hard disk setup as slave on the same channel. On my machine I was getting the same error until i did this. 💡 Deploy cloud instances seamlessly on DigitalOcean. Free credits ($100) for InfMac readers.
