After upgrade to 10.5.4, Leopard always boot with sound muted

Just upgraded to 10.5.4 and I've noticed that everytime Leopard is booted the sound is in mute.
If I mark and then unmark the "Mute" option in Sound menu it comes back and works well.

How can I make it "unmuted" as default?
