AMD and Leopard 64 bit mode? (indeneb v1.1 10.5.4)

rig:
AMD Athlon 64 x2 4400+ (Toledo) - socket 939
Asus a8n-sli-deluxe
2gb ram
ati x1900xt gfx card
wd 320gb sata 2
distro: ideneb v1.1 (10.5.4)
bootloader:Chameleon-1.0.11
kernel: 9.4.0 modbin

-legacy boot flag is NOT being used

the problem that im having is that i relized that leopard isn't runing in 64 bit mode and i have no idea why...and i need it to run leo 64 bit mode so that i can use an 64 bit only app. about this mac recognizes my cpu as "2.2 Ghz Unkown" and system profiler as "AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4400+".

any help would be greatly appreciated.

try using the new voodoo beta 2 kernel with the boot flag "-force64"... but remember, this is still only in the testing phase. the final version will work better.

ok i don't know exactly what is causing this but when i use the -force64 regardless of the kernel (stagexnu, voodoo beta1, voodoo beta 2, modbin, etc) my system boots up as far as mounting the root volume but the system hangs and the hard drive eventualy powers off right before it does "Jettisoning kernel linker." however this also happens when i boot up with -x so i beleive that there is an extension causing the problem but i have no idea which one...

any help would be greatly apreciated

Apparently the AppleNForceATA.kext has some bugs that prevent it entering 64bit mode, which i'm guessing is causing the problem you're experiencing.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!
