iCab web browser

If you're searching for an Mac browser alternative take a look at iCab.

The first thing: It's VERY small. It takes only 17,8 MB as Universal Binary and 7,5 MB as slimmed Intel program. All other common browsers are about 60 MB or more. And it's fast. It isn't using the Mozilla/Gecko engine like many other browsers.

There are still versions for MacOS 9 and MacOS 68K available. Since version 4 it's completely new programmed and has a lot of functions which other browsers don't have, like inbuilt HTML syntax checking including (errors can be displayed), complex filter fuctions which allows you f.e. to save YouTube videos directly from the browser. iCab allows to save partital or complete web sites in different formats, even as standalone web application. You can record sessions and much more.

It's a bit too much to exlain everything, take a look at it. It's available in English, German, French, Danish, Russian, Japanese, Chinese and Norwergian. iCab is Shareware and costs 20 Euro.
