boot1: startupfile and usb drive dell 1525

i have a dell 1525 and deneb 1.3.3? installed on an usb drive. was working with out sound got that fixed, then would not work with the beboard and trackpad, got that fixed, then tried to get internal ethernet working, after tried that got teh boot1 startupfile error, how can i fix this.
thank you very much, looked at other boot1 error topics were no help at all. tried bcd2 beta no go. and it says somewhere to get boot123n looked and looked for teh darn thing and cant find it. wish ppl would leave links to it, whenther say use it. was wonderfull when it worked. oh yeah using windows vista bootlaoder. i did the boot witht the DVD and rd=disk1s1 tricked it worked, but then i did something and now i bet teh "{Press sart key and hold it" ggrrrrrr lol.
