Problem with Realtek and ATI

Hi!

I've been trying to install Zephyroth 10.5 for months, and finally did it! The only problem is that I have no sound, and the maximum screen resolution is 1024x768.

For audio I'm using Realtek High Definition Audio Codecs on Windows, and for the video card I'm not sure, but it's an ATI RADEON X1050. I've been looking for a solution but haven't found anything. Any ideas? My screen resolution is 1440x900.

Also, the Terminal is not working. When I try to open it, the icon appears on the dock and then the application closes.

Anyone knows how to solve these issues?!
