installing lawlessppc build on acer x3200

hi everyone. i've just started doing some research today on how to install osx86 on my system.
the specs are as follows:

current OS : vista 64 bit home premium
amd phenom triple core 2.1 ghz
4 gig ddr2 ram
nvidia gforce 8200 (onboard video) but i also have a discrete ati radeon HD 4650 low profile card installed
640gb sata hard drive
nvidia nforce ethernet/lan
realtek hd audio
from what i've read, it seems the LawlessPPC-Leo-10.5.4-Phenom&AMD build is the best for me so i'm downloading it right now. most of those posts i've read are from last year though...is this still the preferred/best method? also in preparation for the actual installing portion i have a few basic questions i can't seem to find info about:

1) whats a good recommended partition size to have? i have to *first* partition the space as fat32 in vista right? besides general web browsing/emailing etc, i also plan on doing some photoshop (small web stuff, not huge high res photos or anything), indesign, illustrator etc. and thats about it really (no video editing or anything). all of my media/music/movies will just sit in my vista partition. would say 50-80 gigs be a good number? don't want to feel like i'm wasting any hd space but at the same time want to make sure i have enough for what i want to do because i've read once you install osx856 theres no way to resize the partition without reinstalling.

2) i found this random guide for my specific computer (albeit its written in a giant wall of text) : click here
i'm curious if anyone who just so happens to be running the same or similar system could comment on how safe/accurate the aforementioned guide seems to be?

3) i'm trying to find if this build or if any kexts/drivers support the low profile ati radeon 4650 i installed on my pc. i searched this forum and found one thread about this card but it was unanswered. should i stick with just trying to get the onboard video (nvidia 8200) working for now? i would assume the ati 4650 would be more widely supported? edit: it seems the 4650 is not supported

4) i would like to eventually have vista bootloader come up instead of darwin. is this guide still applicable to this particular osx86 build?

post-installation i've read that you should only use amd-marvin to update anything is this correct?

this seems to be all i need to know for now. feel free to add any tips or suggestions if you'd like. thanks in advance
