hdd wont show in installer

I'm trying to dual boot vista and mac using iATKOS 5i and the installer won't show my drives and is starting piss me off. I activated the mac drive a made in vista so now I can get back into vista cuz the drive that's active doesn't have a OS. I can't tell you all my specs cuz i'm on my iPod typing this but I can tell you it's a computer that I built.

Intel Pentium Dual-Core Processor
Foxconn Motherboard
ATI Sapphire HD 3850
2GB Ram

u have to make the drive OS X bootable. go to disk utilites. find the partition you want to make OS X, then go to the erase tab, after select Mac OS Extended Jornaled from teh partition tab. selcect how many partitions u want on tht drive, then name your drive. format and it will show up in the installer
