Looking for a fully working solution for Radeon HD 2600 Pro.
Kexts fron DVD allows me to change the resolution to 1280x1024 etc. but it doesn't provide QE/CI I've tried also a Natit.kext from netkas (netkas.org) but it totally breaks the driver - I can see only artefacts... UPDATE: Now I have QE/CI support ![]() HOWTO: 1. goto irc.osx86.hu -> #RadeonHD channel. 2. Download Triakis and 2600Pro Fix (for white menus problem) 3. Install Triakis (there is installer in the package) 4. After installing Triakis pkg add your device-id to Info.plist of ATIRadeonX2000.kext (for me the deviceid was 0x95891002 - add it to the looong string with stuff like this) 5. Install the white Menus fix (note: Best way to install is with Kext Helper B7 - use google to find this software) reboot... |

Nope. Doesn't work. When I boot it says that the ATI2000 (whatever) .kext cannot be used. Same thing with the natit.kext.

You can try this: http://rapidshare.com/files/15366965...00Pro.zip.html
The only thing you must check it up is to check if your DeviceID is added in the info.plist file inside the Atiradeonx2000.kext, in system/library/extensions The pkg is called HD2900XT_Pro, but works with my HD2600 pro perfectly! Good luck! |
