SATA drives show as external & NOT ON DESKTOP
Guys,
I can not get my SATA HDD to show up on desktop. System profiler says disk is an EXTERNAL HDD. What can I do? ICH9R on Gigabyte EP35-DS3P Vanilla Install w/ DSDT override for Vid/Eth/Sound Last edited by xwin78; 09-28-2009 at 10:43 PM. Reason: added info

OK, First, click on your desktop. It should say finder on the menubar. Click "Finder" and click "preferences" Select Hard Disks.
About them showing as external, you need a kext.
