SL resets my BIOS
Hi Folks,
Yesterday I installed SL with a retail-DVD and the guide from ihackintosh.org on my AMD-system. It runs at my first try perfectly, no probs with sound or graphics (QE/CI). The only thing which is not so fine is each start or restart after running a SL session my BIOS is been cleared and don't remember my custom setting like boot order, deactivated onboard-raid and firewire (stuff I don't need, an OSX has a couple of probs with when activated). I hope you can help me to fix this problem. Some Specs: CPU: Athlon X2 4200+ (S939) Board: GB K8NXP9 (nforce 4 ultra) RAM: 4x512MB OCZ GPU: 6600GT 128MB 3 HDD's: 80 GB IDE with Windows 7, 200 GB SATA-II with 10.5.7, 160 GB SATA-I with 10.6.1 With Windows 7 and Leopard I don't have this problem. I think the problem is located at some kexts (AppleACPIPlatform.kext?) or at my dsdt.aml. But before I play with this stuff I would like to now what you say. Thanks in advance for your time. |
