UnEarase, Repair or Reconstruct Hard Disk in Software Raid 0?

Hi,

I accidently did an erase on a hard disk that was in a software raid 0 array. Now the raid doesn't work. Is there any tool or any way to recover from my bone-head move? Half of the raid stripe is still good and I haven't written over the other (bad) half. It's just been 'erased' through Disk Utility.

What does Erase do and is it possible to recover from this? Or am I just dreaming?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. My baby's photos and videos are on the raid and I would love to be able to get back these files.
