How to fix "About This Mac" in the system profiler?

I tried many different things to fix this in snow leopard has anybody figured a way to fix it?

Well PC_EFI 10.5 used to fix my processor info on the netbook, from beeing detected as Core Solo to the correct display of Intel Atom N270 - don't know if that will work in your case.

Every other SystemProfiler and About this Mac info can be injected via smbios.plist

Ok good but well it still fix my "About this mac" if the info has already been altered?, It just says now "Version_Format_String".

How did you messed it up? Tried to use OSx86 Tools?

Probably when you try using "Restore Strings System Files to Defaults" option? OSx86 Tools are used to create a back-up...

Making it even more worse ain't possible I think.
