vram not recognized by software
Vram is correctly detected by MacOs but not by software. Programs say there´s not enough Vram, even if they need only 4 or 8 Mb.
This is what is shown in "About This Mac" Chipset Model: GMA 950 Type: Display Bus: Built-In VRAM (Total): 64 MB of Shared System Memory Vendor: Intel (0x8086) Device ID: 0x27ae Revision ID: 0x0003 Displays: Display: Resolution: 1024 x 600 Depth: 32-Bit Color Core Image: Software Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Not Supported Built-In: Yes QuartzGL: Supported Display Connector: Status: No Display Connected This is a error example : Quartz Composer requires an NVIDIA GeForce2 MX, GeForce3, GeForce4 Titanium or GeForce4 MX card or any ATI AGP RADEON card. A minimum of 16 mB VRAM is required. I installed iatkos v7 in a Samsung NC10 laptop using the NC120 guide in the forum. I also installed before using default gma950 laptop driver and 2 kext´s from other sources. Dessktop and video work (i.e. Gimp, QuickTime, VLC) but not 3D. The issue it´s the same with all drivers, The same error for every OpenGL software like Blender, games or Quartz Composer . Not enough Vram Any idea about this? How get the programs the info about Hardware? Thanks in advance.. 💡 Deploy cloud instances seamlessly on DigitalOcean. Free credits ($100) for InfMac readers. |
