Doesnt seem to work on my system, tried re-install from 10.5.1 DVD
still same, doesnt seem to do anything, am I alone in this?

hmmm, x11 is working for me i use it for open office and darwine, i noticed that x11 doesn't work in 1024*768 resolution

1680x1050 so that's not the problem.

what kind of errors do you get when trying to use x11, the usual "x11 has crashed - ignore relaunch" or something else?

Nothing just no response. Gonna download open office and see what happens with it. To be honest I don't really use X11 for anything just curious as to what the problem is

Same as lanxxx, X11 just does nothing. 1920X1200 res here so not the 1024X768 problem.
