Help! Sleepmode ruins my OS X 1.6
Hello,
I'm not sure why this is happening and I can't find someone else with the same problem. I've loaded snow leopard on a PM55 laptop, lots of components aren't working but I have SL running. If I leave the laptop for a little bit it goes into sleep mode, and if it goes into sleep mode the computer locks up and my only solution is to power it down via the power button. I then can not relaunch SL. I have to reinstall my bootloader, format the drive, etc. essentially start all over again. Very very frustrating. I'm hoping someone out there can offer an idea. Thank you. |

Just to Update incase someone searches this in the future.
I got the latest release of the sleep enabler kext, and removed the NV kexts from system/library/extensions , as they were giving me problems with my graphics card. This did not resolve the problem completely, but sleep just locks up the laptop and hard-restarting it gets it back to normal. |
