kernel panic, but only when installing software?
hey guys, I have a hackintosh using an i7 930 and an MSI X58M w/ 6gb of ddr3 and a 8400gs.
First off, I have been unable to find any guides using this motherboard, so that is the root of all my problems. Second, I used kakewalk for a gigabyte ex58-ud3r and deleted the dsdt that was included because it wouldn't boot w/ the gigabyte dsdt in place. Everything installed quickly and it is very responsive and everything seems to be going good until I try to install software I get a KP almost every time. currently, my extra folder looks like this: com.apple.boot.plist Extensions extensions.mkext smbios.plist with these files in the extensions folder: fakesmc.kext JmicronATA.kext NullCPUPowerManagement.kext If anyone has any pointers that could help stabilize this system, it would be greatly appreciated!! |
