10.6 to 10.6.4

I installed 10.6 via the EP45-ED3P magic installer. Everthing works perfect except for when I try to upgrade. I have upgraded to 10.6.2 and .3 and .4 with not luck. I did it through the update window as well as downloaded each and installed. Everytime I restart I get to where its trying to load and then the monitor shuts off. Any help would be apprecaited. Thanks
