"Snow" on screen after waking from sleep

My hack is using DSDT for graphics and sleep etc. When I wake from sleep I get multi-colored "snow" filling my screen for about 15 seconds then all is normal.

Any ideas?

Let me guess: Perhaps an LG LED monitor??

Have the same issue with mine (Sometimes just the one screen of the dual connected screens on the ATI HD5770) but haven't seen it with the LG LCD I have.
