OS X Snow Lepoard on a Dell Inspiron 1545

Ok, I am new to the world of hackingtosh, and really could use some help.

I have an iBoot disc, and a Snow leopard disc that came with my iMac. I also have 15GB of unpartitioned space on the Dell. So, I get to the install bit with the language selection, and then it tells me I cannot install onto this computer. What am I doing wrong? Is the Dell supported? I am new to this, so sorry if I have got anything wrong.
