Hello, I am having lots of problems with Zephyroth's 10.5.2 for AMD.
First problem: When I don't boot the DVD with -v or -x it appears an apple logo and it stays there forever... Here is an image: http://img369.imageshack.us/img369/6364/issueffld6.jpg It doesn't have the loading circle as you can notice. Second problem: When I boot with -v it stays there forever, the last code it says in the black screen is: ACPI_SMC_CtrlLoop : : iniyCPUCtrlLoop - pmCPUControl (PMIOCSETPSTATETABLE) returned 0x42fcf00 Here is an image: http://img170.imageshack.us/img170/1903/dsc00852mi0.jpg My computer: My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite A215-S4767, SSE 3 it has 2 gb ram, AMD turion 64x2 Dual Core Mobile Technology, 250 gb HDD + 80 gb HDD (external), ATI Radeon X1200, 54g Atherols Wi-Fi (802.11b/g); 10/100 Ethernet; 4 USB, 1 FireWire, 1 VGA, 1 S-Video, 1 ExpressCard 34/54. 5-in-1 memory card reader, Realtek High Definition Audio ALC268 Any suggestions??? check your bios settings, you may need to turn off the cool and quiet type acpi speed step system, don't worry though as it is software controlled now

but how do i turn it off, where do i need to go on bios?

under cpu setting, sorry you will have to look around a bit as all bios are different

but does it actually says ACPI? because /I have searched and I didnt find anything that sid ACPI

No for my amd its called cool and quiet, its next to the hypertransport settings
I use a X2 Dual Core not a laptop, but Im sure the turions will have something similar Good Luck |

I have an Acer Aspire 5520-5912 and I boot up the Leopard Install DVD and it goes through but when I want to partition my hard drive it doesn't detect anything. Can anyone help me with this issue. Thanks in advanced.
